We are very happy to let you all know that we have just pushed through a number of developments to Platform Analyser and you can find out all about them below.

Thanks very much to everyone who has taken the time to pass us their ideas for future developments and how we could continue to improve Analyser.

Due diligence reminder dates

You can now set an alert to remind you to review your due diligence. This feature is in two places:

When you’re building a report, in the final step (phase 8) right at the bottom of the screen. It defaults to annually, and you can also select six monthly, quarterly, monthly or a specific date:

You can also go back and add it to any historic reports that you have already completed. To do this, click on the bell symbol at the right-hand side of your report and set the date as above.

 Feature descriptions

You can now view descriptions of certain features. As you know, most features are self-explanatory however some things are a bit greyer. So for the greyer ones, you’ll find a description denoted by an ‘i’ hover button. You can see this in three places:

-  In features comparisons

- In features results (shown by group, category and datapoint); and

- At the features comparisons phase of due diligence reports

As always, we’d like to be guided by users in what’s needed here.

If you ever come across a feature that you feel needs explaining, give us a shout via the get in touch button and we’ll sort it. We want to strike the right balance between not teaching granny to suck eggs and making things genuinely more useful for you.

New data

Based on your continued feedback, we’ve added seven new datapoints. Thanks for asking and keep asking, again don’t hesitate to ask for anything you would find additionally useful via ‘get in touch’.

Remember also data that changes quarterly is updated, well quarterly.

That’s the likes of AUA, service ratings and other numbers and scale stuff under ‘general information’ and at the top of each Platform Directory dashboard.

Also keep an eye out for cash interest rate changes – there hasn’t been much change lately of course, but we have a feeling things might be brewing. Either way, they’re all up to date for now on Analyser.
