What’s new in Analyser: Comparisons, performance and more

We wanted to let you know about some changes which should make life easier when it comes to comparing and interrogating your chosen MPS solutions.

These changes are a direct result of feedback from planners and Analyser subscribers – thanks as ever to those who shared their suggestions.

Some of them improve the user experience, some allow you to more readily access and act on the data within Analyser itself, and there’s one that just makes sense from a security perspective.

So, what’s changed?

#1 Enhanced MPS comparisons

It’s now easier to choose which ranges you want to include in your features comparisons. Select your providers first to narrow down the ranges you want to include, rather than having to scroll through all providers and ranges as was previously the case.

This change will save you time when choosing the MPS ranges you want to compare.

#2 MPS performance downloads

Alongside the PDF performance chart, you now have access to the underlying data, available as an Excel file. You can then use as the data you wish, for example, in reports or as part of client conversations.

This change is in both the comparisons and due diligence sections of Analyser.

#3 Business analysis

Turning now to due diligence. When you’re using Analyser to choose or review your MPS providers, we’ve built extra business information into the selection process. This gives you the info you need when you need it in the early stages of deciding which providers to take forward (or not).

The new details include things like:

·       Company info

·       Date of launch of MPS

·       Total assets under management

·       Financial strength

·       Ownership structure

·       Pre-tax profit or loss

·       Latest developments

#4 Log ins

We’re always looking at how we can make Analyser as secure as possible - this goes for both Analyser subscribers and Directory users.

From today, if you share a log in, only one person can log in to an account at any one time. If a second user logs in when you’re also signed in, you’ll be kicked out of the system.

This brings Analyser in line with the security processes used by other fintech tools.

That’s it for now. Our next round of developments will be focused on supporting you in getting Consumer Duty ready – expect more news on that front next month.

In the meantime, if you want to find out more about our most recent Analyser updates, our next demo for subscribers is on Tuesday 25 October at 1pm. Join us to see the changes in action here.

If you're newish to Analyser and want to find out more about the benefits of a subscription, we're hosting a separate demo with you in mind on Wednesday 26 October at 1pm. For new or would-be Analyser subscribers, the session for you is here.

Thanks, hope you find the updates useful.
