This is the first session of our new look HomeGames for 2022, where we do a deep dive on a theme or topic each month.

To kick things off, we focused on the issue of technology and integration.

Our panellists were:

• Lena Patel, director and chartered financial planner, ISJ Financial Planning

We discussed issues such as whether tech is really making advisers more efficient (given the manual processes involved in day-to-day client servicing), and whether proper integration has ended up in the ‘too difficult’ pile.

Our panellists also get stuck into progress on adviser technology and what needs to change, platforms, and whether the expectation these days is for advisers to be tech experts.
