We’re pleased to let you know that Waverton Investment Management is the latest discretionary fund manager to join MPS Analyser.
This takes the number of MPS providers you can compare and assess within Analyser to 14.
Waverton was originally founded as J O Hambro Investment Management in 1986. The company was acquired by the Credit Suisse Group in 2001, and was later sold to the investment firm Somers Limited and the existing management team in 2013 before rebranding as Waverton.
It describes itself as an “independent owner-managed investment management house”, and caters to advisers, clients, trusts, charities and institutions.
Waverton offers six portfolios:
- Waverton Equity
- Waverton Growth
- Waverton Balanced
- Waverton Cautious
- Waverton Defensive
- Waverton Conservative
On joining Analyser, Waverton head of adviser sales Mark Barrington says: “With the lang cat’s reputation for impartiality and independence, it’s great news for advisers that they have now turned their attention to the highly competitive MPS market.
“We fully expect the popularity of the managed portfolio approach to increase and tools such as this are vital in helping discerning advisers and paraplanners make well-informed decisions.”
